Darling River & Louth Races 8 day Tag-Along Adventure Tour

A Darling River Run, leaving from Wentworth, NSW this tour takes you along the iconic Darling-Baaka River, through outback NSW to Bourke and finishing in the historic mining town of Cobar. Visit iconic outback pubs, the Menindee Lakes and renowned local station/properties. Learn the history of many of the towns, properties and the workings of the Darling/Baaka River system. Visit many of the areas famous explorers (Burke & Wills, Sturt) markings and camps in Menindee. The main event for this tour will be the famous Outback Race meet "The Louth Races", such an amazing race meet, where up to 5000 people flood the small river port of Louth for up to a week. So many events to have a look at while we visit, the local school fete, the Calcutta at "Shindy's Inn", there is a golf day and some bands to help celebrate the event. If you are thinking of doing a Darling River Run, this is the one to add to your plans, a very relaxed and easy drive up the river, then get frocked up for the races and finally wind our way to the junction. Plenty of time to wet a line or just absorb the tranquillity of the river camps.

This is a 8 day/7 night tour with 2 nights spent at Louth for the famous Louth Races, one of the most iconic outback race meets outback NSW and Australia..

This tour  is fully catered. There is no 4WDing just dirt roads so perfect for the beginner and families.
